Katie Lasek Founder & CEO of PumpedNM

Katie Lasek
Founder/CEO

Graduate of Rio Rancho High School, Katie LaSeck moved to Albuquerque from Rio Rancho after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Alan LaSeck. Katie has been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mother with her children during the first years of their lives. Currently, Katie is employed as a Financial Coordinator with the State of NM Health Care Authortity. A devoted mother of three very busy boys, Connor, Liam and Aiden, Katie and her family enjoy much of their time in the great outdoors where they love camping and fishing.

In 2019, her son Liam, then 10 years old, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Unfortunately, Katie discovered there weren’t many options for the help and care that her son needed with his diagnosis. She found that many other New Mexico children with Type 1 Diabetes did not have access to the much-needed equipment for a healthy and higher quality of life. From this, PumpedNM was born.
